From July through September 2013 Japanese architect and artist
Kyohei Sakaguchi exhibited his Mobile Garden House in San Francisco. The
Mobile Garden House is part of his Zero Yen House art project inspired
by the structures created by the homeless people on the streets of Tokyo. It is
a simple shed on wheels using very few (mostly reclaimed and recycled)
materials. The structure lacks any specific purpose, but potted plants can be
placed on the roof and small pieces of furniture can be used for resting or meditation.
